Wednesday - Things Are Improving

Hello Gang,

Jeepers - it is already Wednesday, believe it or not! The fires are still ripping and roaring, but with a little less momentum that the previous few days. At this point a couple of the smaller fires in the state have been contained in the 20+% range versus 0% containment just numerous hours and days ago. at this time, hundreds have been forced to evacuate their homes and many have in fact lost their homes or property due to these relentless rashes of flames and fire.

Many will go on worrying if they still have something to return to and others are just happy and grateful to be alive. Numerous disaster relief services have honed in on the hard hit areas and are providing as much support, assistance and guidance as possible to help these poor people during this trying and emotional time./ Please continue to pray for the people of Southern California and their health and safety during these uncertain times and may God bless them and their families for making it through this terrible firestorm.

OK - I know... you want to know what I am wearing, hence the point of this blog - right? Okay, with respect for the fire and those who are suffering, I am not going to waste too much time being shallow and worrying about what I am wearing. With that said, I decided to wear a nice brown with white pin-stripe Tahari 2-piece skirt and blazer set and Lilly Pulitzer camisole paired with a pair of teak wood Nadia of Italia 4" heels purchased at BEBE in Fashion Valley (A Simon Mall in San Diego). Hey, figured since this was the first day I was to be back in the office I had to at least look presentable and so what about the smoke in my suit, I have dry cleaner pals to take care of that and if it is really bad Susie Thai can work her magic on it later on.
